Got the idea to the podcast back in 2008 and established and ran it by himself the first couple of years before getting much needed help from the rest of the staff on this page. Besides running the podcast Mads is well known in the Danish club circuit as DJ Tom Collins. (Link tom-collins.dk) He also heads up the promotion atCopenhagens only electronic club Culture Box. All activities that has made him know the Danish scene from the inside out and the perfect opportunity to seek out and find the best dj-mixes.

At day busy with school, at night busy with a healthy overconsumption of electronic music. Living somewhat outside of Copenhagen, Nicolai has mostly been listening in front of his stereo at home. In that fashion he is in a unique position to know what kind of mixes will work when he seeks out new mixers for the podcast. In spite of his young age, Nicolai has acquired a huge knowledge of clubmusic and he has a preference for deep sounding music whether it be pounding techno or rolling house. Besides music Nicolai has a big interest in bikes which he takes apart and puts together all the time.

Morten got hooked on electronic music in the late eighties when he was fooling around with music on his Commodore 64. He likes all kinds of music but the electronic genres like house, techno and minimal has always been close to his heart. After serving the army for ten years he turned to serve the ears of the listeners on several online radios and had an EP released on the russian net-label musickollektiv.org. Besides the passion for music, he is also into to drawing and painting. All this he passes on to future generations through his daily work and by seeking out new mixers for the for the podcast.

He moved to Copenhagen quite a while ago, but instantly fell in love with the nightlife and the variety of music in the capital. In the years to come, he continously explored new genres and finding the urge to put his print on something for masses. Just recently Kenneth started mixing and DJ’ing just for the fun of it, next to his private project together with Simon. Beside his passion for music, Kenneth shows great interest within graphics design and web design, this is how he came in contact with SMACKcast. Volunteering to work on the website, next to doing any kind of work coming his way.

Simon Lund

At young age, Simon showed great interest in his parents vinyl collection, but lost the fight over it to his older brother. He has been making up for it ever since, expanding his own music collection into amazing heights, ranging from electronica to indie.
Simon started on his bachelor degree at the School of Visual Design last summer, and has been showing great potential throughout his first year. The new logo came to life at the hands of Simon, and you can check out the rest of his work at his website (Link: salp.dk).
